OLITHEA is a Greek family business that is involved in the production and packaging of organic extra virgin olive oil. The olive groves of the company of a total area of 130 acres, are located in the village of Agios Mattheos, Corfu, and the cultivated variety is LIANOLIA, a traditional variety of the island with special characteristics. The area of Agios Mattheos has a special natural microclimate that combines sea breeze with the freshness of the mountain, offering olives unique characteristics. This special feature in combination with the application of stringent standards of organic farming at each stage of production, results in the production and packaging an excellent virgin olive oil of high quality, full of scents and flavors. OLITHEA is an olive oil of low production, and therefore rare, produced in a slow and cold way, with a high number of beneficial polyphenols. Besides, all its biochemical tests prove both its unique quality and the health qualification it has received, since his polyphenols (Oleasin and Oleokanthal) are at prices over the average rate of the international samples.
