The company has its starting point in the year 1970, when it created its first laboratory-store, based in Nea Smyrni, Attica. From the first steps, it was innovative for the season, producing and selling wholesale fresh pastry products in bakeries and closed markets. This innovative business move consolidated the company in the field of food service and in combination with the high quality of the products managed to create a wide commercial network in the prefecture of Attica. From the year 1997 the second generation transferred the productive activity of the company to Alimos, Attica,renaming it Dorikon, a word which indicates the common origin of the owners from the Arcadian land. In this new space, where the company is still based, new technology has been introduced in the production of pastry products and modern and strict hygiene rules are applied by specialized personnel. The range of products was enriched and improved by offering complete proposals in the category of frozen pastry products. Having expanded its clientele in the province, the ultimate goal of Dorikon SA. is the continuous improvement of products and services and the coverage of the mass catering space in many ways and responsibly.In the year 2005 it operates under the supervision of Nikolaos Emm. Soursos, president and managing director, son of the founder of the company. Recent news: Dorikon obtained in 2013 & 2014, two Patents from the Industrial Property Organization, thus carrying out the strategy it has set, of continuous development and innovation.
